Raw Milk Near Cortland County, NY

Heritage Era in Tioga County, owned by the David Kline family, sells raw milk from their herd of Jersey cows in a self-service farm store which is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. They are not open on Sunday. They are licensed by the State of New York and offer raw cream on the top milk in ½ gallon ($3.00) and 1 gallon ($6.00) containers. The farm store also offers baked goods from April to October (cookies, donuts, and bread), as well as maple syrup. If you plan to pick up milk in the afternoon you MUST call ahead to ensure that milk will be available. Pre-orders are preferred if you need quantities over 5 gallons and will qualify for a volume discount. (.50 off per gallon if purchasing 5-10 gallons and 1.00 off per gallon if purchasing over 10 gallons.)

Our small, heritage-breed cows are 100% grassfed . They are an integral part of our regenerative, biodynamic, certified organic farming system, providing fertility for our vegetable crops as well as milk for you! Milk is sold in 6 month blocks in half gallons for around $6/week. There is also a raw cheese csa and yogurt option. Pickup is either Wednesday or Friday.

Jersey Bell Farm milks several Jersey cows that are 100 percent grassfed. The cows get free choice minerals and graze on pasture in the warmer months. No hormone or antibiotics used, and cows are A2 certified. Milk is $8/gallon $4/half gallon with a jar deposit of $3 for half gallon and $4 deposit for one gallon containers. Free range eggs and raw milk are self-serve at stand Mon.-Sat. 8 am-8 pm, but customers are welcome to come to the barn and visit the cows. No Sunday sales.
